Application for the first round of testing for the Sari Sheath Dress is now open! Please find all relevant info below.
Please keep the following in mind before applying:
The test will run from 25 May – 05 June. PLEASE APPLY BY SUNDAY, 24 MAY. Testers will be required to sew and send back the feedback form and photo of sewn garment by MONDAY, 08 JUNE. If you fail to meet the deadline then you will not receive a copy of the final pattern.
A Facebook group will be created for the group testing the pattern, and you will be added if your application is successful.
Ok , so more about the pattern…
The dress features a round neckline, and darts in front and back bodice and skirt to ensure a flattering figure hugging silhouette. The dress has an invisible back zipper. View A is midi length, and features a skirt with bottom frill. View B is knee length and also features a skirt with frill at the bottom. View C is a classic midi length sheath dress. The pattern also features 3 different sleeve lengths – short, three quarter and long – and also includes a tutorial on how to finish armholes if you desire a sleeveless garment.
For the test you will be required to choose what view you would like to sew and also what sleeve length.
This pattern is for ADVENTUROUS BEGINNERS – ADVANCED sewers.
